Age Friendly Livability Plan

The City of Bangor is a member of
the AARP Age-Friendly Communities Network. The work of a steering committee focuses on the quality of life of older adults and provides age-friendly resources for Bangor.

The Bangor Health & Community Services department promotes health and well-being
in our community by providing prevention services, supports, education, and leadership.

Founded in 1954, the Public Health department seeks to set local public health policy by using a "health in all policies"
lens and by collaborating with other health partners.
As a local health leader, Public Health looks to encourage behavior change,
inspire action, and build momentum toward a healthier community.
