During the unique challenge of COVID-19, the City of Bangor is working with our healthcare partners to help people stay safe and healthy.

The Northern Light Health Vaccination Site is located at the Cross Insurance Center (515 Main Street, Bangor).

The site is open several days a week, providing the vaccine to members of the public by appointment onlyThose without internet access can dial 2-1-1 for assistance with obtaining an appointment.

"Governor Janet Mills announced (Thursday, April 1, 2021) that all Maine residents age 16 and older will be eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine beginning (next) Wednesday, April 7, 2021. The acceleration of Maine’s vaccination timeline by a week and a half comes as Maine is expected to receive a significant increase in vaccine supply from the Federal government. Vaccination for residents age 16 and older had previously been scheduled to begin on April 19, 2021."

While City offices remain open for now, we ask residents to consider the use of alternative methods to conduct City business as many matters can be handled using tools available on this website. City staff will continue to deliver as many services possible via phone, online, and email. If you decide to come to City Hall, know that measures have been put into place that are designed to keep you and the City staff safe. Please abide by the safety precautions by wearing a face covering and remaining socially distanced from other customers and staff.
