Broadband
The Bangor City Council declared broadband to be essential infrastructure in 2018. Since that time, City staff have been researching models and best practices, and developed a strategic plan that will lead to a request for proposals. Mission Broadband has been retained to assist in the strategic planning process and RFP development. The RFP is expected to be issued in early 2021.

Broadband Summit | Thursday, October 24, 2019
The City of Bangor hosted a Broadband Summit on Thursday, October 24, 2019 in Council Chambers at City Hall. This event was open to any interested residents, business or community leaders, or stakeholders who are interested in the City's efforts to move toward ubiquitous, reliable, and affordable high speed internet access.
