Safe Pesticide Disposal

Maine's obsolete pesticide collection program is offered by the Maine Board of Pesticides Control and the Maine Department of Environmental Protection and provides a way to dispose of old pesticides. In order to participate please note the following:


  • Registration is free but is required; no drop-ins accepted.various pesticides


  • Must register by September 30 of each year.


  • Drop off sites are available in Presque Isle, Bangor, Augusta, and Portland.
