Bangor Foreign Trade Zone No. 58
The City of Bangor is the Grantee of Foreign-Trade Zone #58 and holds the authority to oversee the Foreign Trade Zone program within the five-county region (Hancock, Penobscot, Piscataquis, Waldo, and Washington Counties). With Bangor Alternative Site Framework, businesses can apply to activate FTZ status at their own facility – no warehouse required.
- Does your business Import and Export?
- Do you have room to store goods?
- Are you located in the five-county area?
Businesses do not have to move to Bangor to utilize FTZ #58. Any qualifying site within the five counties can apply. Contact the Community & Economic Development office today.
FTZs support manufacturers, importers, and exporters, especially those dealing with global supply chains.
