City of Bangor & Community Health Leadership Board to Discuss School and Childcare Safety for Upcoming School Year at July 31st Press Conference

The City of Bangor and the Community Health Leadership Board, along with the Bangor School Department, will host a press conference to discuss school and childcare safety for the upcoming school year on Friday, July 31, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.

The public will be able to stream the conference live on the City of Bangor's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/BangorCityHall or via Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86271578069.

Speakers will include Bangor City Council Chair Clare Davitt; Dr. Betsy Webb, Superintendent of the Bangor School Department; Patty Hamilton, Director of Public Health; Tracy Willette, Director of Parks and Recreation; and Deb Neuman, President, Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce. James Jarvis, MD, from Northern Light Health will also be present to answer questions. The focus of the press conference will be on a safe reopening for academic, social, emotional, and economic reasons.
