Repairs to Entrance of Bangor City Hall

BANGOR, MAINE – Work on the entrance of Bangor City Hall is scheduled to begin on September 2, 2019 and last through the end of October. This work will involve the replacement of the front doors, resetting the front stairs, and replacing the landing in front of the front doors.

During this time, the front entrance to City Hall will be inaccessible. Visitors to City Hall can continue to use the side entrance, which features a handicap-accessible ramp as well as stairs and visitor parking. As the process moves forward and contractors move equipment around, the public will be apprised of any alternate routes or detours for accessing City Hall.

This work will allow for easier, safer, and more convenient access to City Hall for the citizens of Bangor.
