Register For TIPS Alcohol Server Training
The Bangor City Council passed an ordinance on April 9, 2018 requiring alcohol server training for employees of those who hold liquor license for on-premises consumption. More information on Chapter 61: Alcohol and Entertainment, § 61-29 is available here: https://ecode360.com/33232234
The ordinance requires that all servers at such establishments receive server training by September 1, 2018, provided that any employee hired within ninety (90) days of that date has ninety (90) days to complete the training.
Bangor Public Health and Community Services is offering free in-person TIPS training this summer to assist businesses with meeting this new requirement. Registration is required and space is limited.
