8/19/2015 - City of Bangor Plans Community Town Halls for Residents
The City of Bangor will host four community town halls during the months of September and October. The town halls, held in schools throughout the City to ensure easy access for all, will provide residents the opportunity to engage with key members of City staff, hear answers to frequently asked questions, inquire about other items, and offer thoughts and suggestions. All Bangor citizens are encouraged to attend.

Community town halls will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the following dates, at the specified location:

Thursday, September 10, William S. Cohen School (304 Garland Street)

Thursday, September 24, James F. Doughty School (143 5th Street)

Thursday, October 8, Mary Snow School (435 Broadway)

Thursday, October 22, Downeast School (100 Moosehead Boulevard)

“The town hall meetings give residents the chance to hear directly from City staff about City services, and how staff can help with their concerns, complaints or compliments,” says City Manager Cathy Conlow. “We hope residents will join us, and also encourage people to submit questions in advance on our website: bangormaine.gov/askbangor. We expect topics such as potholes, abandoned properties, and police matters will be items of broad concern. However, we want to know what is on the minds of Bangor’s citizens, to be sure we are working towards ad dressing the community’s needs.” For more information about the community town halls, please visit bangormaine.gov/askbangor or call (207) 992-4205.
