On Feb. 2, 2026, at approximately 4:02 p.m., Bangor Police Officers responded to the area of French Street for the report of an erratic mail van. Bangor Police located and made contact with the mail van operator, Anthony Federico age 43 of Bowerbank ME, and noticed signs of impairment. After investigating further Federico was arrested for Operating Under the Influence, Class D. Federico was transported to Penobscot County Jail.
