BANGOR, Maine -- A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Broadway Tuesday evening.
At approximately 5:37 p.m., on Nov. 15, Bangor Police responded to the area near the intersection of Broadway and State Street for the report of a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle. First responders spoke with the 32-year-old man who had been struck. He told police and fire that he was chasing someone across the road who had just stolen his belongings before he was hit by the vehicle.
The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries. No charges are expected at this time.
