Kids will have a chance to enjoy a sweet treat with officers from the Bangor Police Department at Fielder's Choice as they host "Cone with a Cop." Kids under 12 years old get a free cone on July 9, between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Fielder’s Choice, 339 Odlin Road, in Bangor.
Cone With A Cop is the summertime version of Coffee With A Cop, with ice cream instead of coffee. The emphasis is on getting kids to know their local police. Adults are welcome to join and meet officers, discuss issues that are on your mind while enjoying ice cream.
