Wayne is a 30-year resident of Bangor with a background in finance and accounting, having previously received an accounting degree from Husson University and an MBA from Babson College. He has worked for firms such as Price Waterhouse (formally PricewaterhouseCoopers) and also been a small business owner.
Wayne, who is married with two grown children, has served the City in a number of capacities, including as the chair of the Historic Preservation Commission, a member of the Planning Board and a member of the Board of Ethics.
He’s also served as a volunteer with the Friends of Dakin Pool, Friends of the Bangor Public Library, Boy Scouts of America, and as a trustee for the Knox Museum in Thomaston and the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution.
