Bangor Parks & Recreation is now accepting early registrations for the 62nd Annual Labor Day 5-Mile Road Race, taking place Monday, September 1. This long-standing event is Maine’s longest consecutive running race and a great way to celebrate the end of summer.

Cost:
- $35 – Early Bird Registration (May, June, July)
- $40 – August and Race Day
Registration is free for participants ages 18 and under, thanks to generous support from the Sub 5 Track Club. The first 80 registrants will also receive a special giveaway item.
Started in 1963 and inducted into the Maine Running Hall of Fame in 2008, the Labor Day Road Race is a proud local tradition. There are 16 different male and female age divisions ranging from 18 and under to 80 and over. Awards will be given to the top two finishers in each category, with special recognition presented to top finishers in the master and overall divisions.

- No processing fees with registration
- Snacks, water, and Gatorade will be available after the race
- No refunds after registering

- Pre-registered Participants: 7:30 – 8:30 AM
- Race Day Registration: 7:30 – 8:15 AM
