BANGOR, Maine -- The Community Connector is exploring ways to modernize the fare system, including by exploring options such as mobile ticketing, smart cards, updated transfer policies and new fare structures.
The public is encouraged to participate in one of two public meetings to learn more about this effort and to share feedback.
The first meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 13, at the Cross Insurance Center, 515 Main St. The hour-long meeting is scheduled to begin at 11:45 a.m.
The second meeting will be held remotely and is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 17, from 6 to 7 p.m. Those wishing to participate can access the meeting using this link: tinyurl.com/BCCfaremeet
