Bangor Police arrested Jeremy Trudeau, 35, of Bangor after officers responded to a disorderly complaint.
On Friday, February 27, at approximately 05:39 p.m., Bangor Police responded to an office building on Summer Street after multiple people called reporting a man armed with a knife was inside and threatening to kill people. One victim said she had a protective order against Trudeau and she found him waiting for her outside. Multiple witnesses said they saw Trudeau chase the female into the building as she was screaming for help. Witnesses also reported that Trudeau caused damage to a door he was trying to break down after the female barricaded herself inside. Officer Samantha Ellis arrived on scene and was able to take Trudeau into custody as he was attempting to get into his vehicle.

Trudeau was arrested and transported to Penobscot County Jail, charged with the following:
- Criminal Threatening w/ a Dangerous Weapon, Class C
- Terrorizing, Class C
- Domestic Violence Criminal Threatening w/ a Dangerous Weapon, Class C
- Domestic Violence Terrorizing, Class C
- Violation of a Protection Order, Class C
- Criminal Mischief, Class D

BANGOR, Maine -- Bangor Police arrested Zachary Wright, 24, of Bangor after a call from a citizen stated they were attacked with a machete by their neighbor.
On Thursday, January 15th, at approximately 06:40 p.m., Bangor Police responded to Sunset Avenue in Bangor for the report of a man being attacked by his neighbor with a machete. Officers arrived and located the victim, who was able to disarm his attacker, and observed several lacerations on his head. He was treated for his injuries at a local hospital and is expected to recover. The victim identified Wright, his neighbor, as the attacker and explained they had issues in the past. Wright was later located away from the scene and taken into custody.
Wright was arrested and transported to Penobscot County Jail, charged with the following:
- Aggravated Attempted Murder, Class A
- Elevated Aggravated Assault, Class A
- Aggravated Assault, Class B
