6/8/2020 - Willard C. Orr Pedestrian Bridge Closed for Bridge Replacement
The Willard C. Orr foot bridge between Pickering Square and Hancock Street is closed to all pedestrian traffic. Preparations have started in advance of construction of the new foot bridge. The bridge will remain closed until the new bridge is complete, which is anticipated to be in late fall of this year. Pedestrians should use either the Washington Street Bridge or the bridge at Bangor Alley to York Street to get across the river.
