5/1/2017 - Notice of nighttime sewer inspections in neighborhoods off Mt. Hope Avenue
An inspection team from Ted Berry Co. Inc., representing the City of Bangor, are conducting nighttime sewer inspections in neighborhoods along Mt. Hope Avenue. Work will take place during the evening hours on the following streets:
• Dartmouth Street
• Yale Street
• Harvard Street
• Pearl Street
• Fern Street
• Beech Street
• Maple Street
The work includes opening manholes along the public right-of-ways and sanitary sewer easements to observe nighttime sewer flows. This work will not require access into houses or any buildings and will not affect sewer service. Work will not generally interfere with traffic flow, though small work zones will be set up on some streets. Please be alert for sewer crews when traveling on these streets at night.
The City of Bangor Police dispatch are aware of the sewer inspection work in this area. Ted Berry personnel will have identification and vehicles marked with the Ted Berry company logo. Questions can be directed to the City of Bangor Engineering Department at (207) 992-4249.
