The City of Bangor will hold its Municipal Election and State Referendum Election on Tuesday, November 3, 2015. The polling place for all Bangor voters is the Cross Insurance Center located at 515 Main Street. Voters should enter via the Southwest Entrance off Buck Street. Overflow parking will be available at Bass Park as well as Hollywood Casino’s parking garage. Polls will be open on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Bangor voters will be casting a ballot for election of three members to the City Council and two members to the School Committee. In addition, voters will also cast a State ballot containing one Citizen’s Initiative and two bond issues.
Citizens registering to vote must provide proof of identity as well as residency. If a current registered Bangor voter has moved within the city, please bring proof of the new resident address to update the voter record. The deadline for requesting an absentee ballot is Thursday, October 29, 2015.
