Maine Woods Subdivision Application - General Information


Public Hearings - November 2023

The Planning Board of the City of Bangor will be considering a second application for the Maine Woods Subdivision, previously approved in September 2022. The first meeting to hear the application will take place on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 7:00 PM. This initial meeting will include an Executive Session for consultation with the City attorney on the rights and duties of the Board in light of the recent Court’s Order on this project.  The November 14, 2023 meeting will also include threshold motions on the application to address completeness and the process, as well as a presentation of the project by the applicant. Public testimony and the remainder of the process will begin during the regularly scheduled Planning Board meeting on Tuesday, November 21st at 7:00 PM.  Both meetings will be held in the Third Floor Council Chambers of Bangor City Hall located at 73 Harlow Street.  Written testimony is encouraged.
