City of Bangor Hires Courtney O'Donnell as Assistant City Manager
BANGOR, MAINE- The City of Bangor is pleased to announce that Courtney O’Donnell has been hired as Assistant City Manager.
A Maine native, Courtney O’Donnell earned a degree in Public Administration from the University of Maine and later achieved a Master’s Degree in Business from Husson University. She brings to the City a wealth of experience, having previously held the role of Town Manager in Stockton Springs as well as Casco. O’Donnell previously worked for the City as Administrative Assistant to the City Manager, a position she held from 2015 to 2017.
As the Assistant City Manager, Courtney will be responsible for Human Resources, managing the Community Connector bus service, and assisting the City with a variety of projects and programs.
“We are thrilled to have Courtney back with the City. Her valuable experience and skills will be an asset to our residents, and to the City’s staff. Her familiarity with Bangor will serve her well in this new role,” said City Manager Cathy Conlow.
O’Donnell replaces Rich Cromwell, who has transitioned to a role in the City’s Human Resources Department.
