Bangor Municipal Golf Course to Open Sunday, May 3, 2020

BANGOR, MAINE—Following Governor Mills’ recent announcement of a reopening plan for the State of Maine, the Bangor Municipal Golf Course will open for the season on Sunday, May 3, 2020.

The course is opening with several new guidelines and protocols, as detailed in the executive order released earlier this week. Since the clubhouse will remain closed, players will need to book a tee time online at www.bangorgc.com or by calling the course directly at 207-941-0232. Players who reside outside of Penobscot County must be a Bangor Municipal Golf Course member.

A detailed listing of current reopening guidelines are available on the Bangor Municipal Golf Course website at www.bangorgc.com. There will not be carts available until a later time, so play is limited to walking only.

For further information or questions, please visit the course’s website or call the clubhouse at 207-941-0232.
