Public Meeting to Discuss Improvements at Pickering Square
Set for Monday, October 22
BANGOR, MAINE – The City of Bangor will hold a public information session to discuss the planned improvements at Pickering Square in Downtown Bangor on Monday, October 22, 2018. The meeting will begin at 6:00pm in Council Chambers on the 3rd floor of City Hall, 73 Harlow Street, and will precede the regularly scheduled City Council meeting.
During the meeting, City staff will provide updates on the concept plans and schedule for the Pickering Square improvements. Following this overview, community members are encouraged to offer input and discuss the elements of the project, which include moving the entrance of the garage and improving adjacent public spaces. This meeting is designed to collect input and feedback, and also facilitate communication about the Pickering Square project.
For anyone unable to attend, the meeting will be broadcast live via the City’s government access TV channel (channel 1303), Facebook page (www.facebook.com/BangorCityHall), and video on demand website (www.bangormaine.viebit.com/).
