Housing Work Group Continues Public Meetings
November 7 to Develop Recommendations
BANGOR, MAINE -- The City of Bangor has convened a work group to focus on the issue of quality, affordable housing in the City and the region. The work group includes representatives from the public and private sector, including individuals, landlords, renters, housing developers, and nonprofit agencies. The public is invited and encouraged to attend all sessions. A series of workshops are planned through September and October to hear panel presentations on housing topics, culminating with recommendations for local programs or policy that can address the shortage of quality, affordable housing in the region.

Those solutions will presented to the Bangor City Council and other stakeholders on December 5 (also 5:00 to 7:00 pm). All meetings will be televised on Bangor’s government access channel and live streamed through the City’s Facebook page, and video will be available after the fact at: https://bangormaine.viebit.com/
