Nomination petitions for the November 5th municipal election are now available. There are four City Council seats and two School Committee seats open this year.
Petitions must be picked up at the City Clerk's office, 1st floor, City Hall, 73 Harlow Street, during regular business hours. They can be returned to the City Clerk between August 19 and September 6, 2019.
City Councilors and Superintending School Committee members are elected at-large for three-year terms. Anyone interested in becoming a candidate must collect signatures from registered voters in Bangor through a petition process.
