The City of Bangor will host a kick-off event for Maine200, a celebration of Maine's Bicentennial, on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 11:30am in Broadway Park. The event will include the raising of the Bicentennial Flag, the dedication of Eastern White Pines, music, and refreshments.
Speakers will include Governor Janet Mills, Bangor City Council Chair Sarah Nichols, and Penobscot Nation Tribal Ambassador Maulian Dana.
