10/19/2015 - Downtown Bangor Halloween Trick or Treat on Saturday, October 31 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Ghosts, goblins, witches, wizards, zombies, and more will be wandering the streets of downtown Bangor on Saturday, October 31 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the annual Downtown Bangor Halloween Trick or Treat. This event is a safe way for families to trick or treat during daylight hours at businesses throughout downtown Bangor. A map of participating locations will be available in West Market Square along with a complimentary trick or treat bag provided by Eastern Maine Medical Center. With 42 businesses and organizations signed up to participate, this year is the biggest yet!

 

“Downtown Halloween gives people the opportunity to experience downtown for fun, family-friendly trick-or treating and explore businesses and organizations they may not have known about prior to the event. And, as the holiday season approaches, we hope people will remember the dedication of these businesses to supporting the community and, in turn, shop locally to support small business and keep our neighborhood, downtown vibe strong,” says Caitlin Brooke, Downtown Coordinator for the Downtown Bangor Partnership.

 

The following businesses and organizations will be participating: Antique Marketplace and Café, Bangor Police Department, Bangor Public Library, The Bangor YMCA, Bankers Life, Blaze, Bookmarcs Bookstore, Bottles & Cans, The Briar Patch, Cake Concoctions, Central Street Farmhouse, COESPACE, Cornerstone Barber Shop, Diversified Ink, Dunnett Inc., Epic Sports, FOLKS (Friends of Lower Kenduskeag Stream), Giacomo's, Good Soul, Grass Roots of Maine, The Hair Affair Barbershop, Harvest Moon Deli, The Henry's Bridal Boutique, Hero's Sports Grill, The Juice Cellar, Kishintaikan Dojo, Maine Cloth Diaper Company, Maine Discovery Museum, Mexicali Blues, Northeast Reprographics, Paddy Murphy’s, Penobscot Theatre Company, Pepino's, Quality Jewelers, Queen City Studios, Rebecca's, Robinson Ballet, Sea of Cotton, The Rock & Art Shop, Thomas School of Dance, University of Maine Museum of Art, and Verve.
