6/26/2015 - Cool Sounds Summer Concert Series and Fresh Air Market Return to Downtown Bangor
The Downtown Bangor Partnership is excited to announce the 10th annual Cool Sounds Summer Concert Series and Fresh Air Market on Thursdays beginning July 2, 2015. This year the Cool Sounds stage will be located in the newly remodeled West Market Square on Broad Street, and the Fresh Air Market will be set up along Merchants Plaza and in Pickering Square. The Cool Sounds Summer Concert Series and Fresh Air Market will continue every Thursday evening through August 20, rain or shine. During the events, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Broad Street and Merchants Plaza will be closed to traffic and from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. Bangor Alley will be closed to accommodate set-up and take down of the stage; please plan travel accordingly.

The 2015 Cool Sounds Summer Concert Series lineup is as follows:
July 2 – RetroRockerz
July 9 – The Ghost of Paul Revere with Jacob Augustine
July 16 – Stesha Cano
July 23 – Broadway Rocks Bangor
July 30 – Jon King Trio
August 6 – Kenya Hall Band
August 13 – When Particles Collide
August 20 –Tomato Tomato with Goldenoak

The concerts will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in West Market Square and run in conjunction with the Fresh Air Market, open from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Up to 20 vendors are expected weekly. Available items include artwork, specialty foods, jewelry, clothing and more. Food vendors will also be on site.

The 2015 Cool Sounds Summer Concert Series and Fresh Air Market is presented by Emera Maine with media sponsorship provided by WLBZ 2. Our hosting sponsors are: Camden National Bank, The First, N.A., Hollywood Casino, Katahdin Trust Company, Bangor Daily News, and New England School of Communication (NESCOM).
