Engine Companies
Engine 1 - Central Station ~ Main Street
Engine 1 is a 2005 Pierce Pumper equipped with a 1,500 gpm pump and 750 gallon tank.
The Engine is manned by 3-4 firefighters per shift.
Engine 5 - Station 5 ~ Hogan Road
Engine 5 is a 1994 Pierce pumper with a 1,250 gpm pump and 750 gallon tank.

Engine 6 - Station 6 ~ Griffin Road

Engine 6 is a 1997 Pierce pumper with a 1,500 gpm pump and 750 gallon tank.
Engine 6 is manned by 3 firefighters per shift
Engine 2 - Reserve
Engine 2 is a 1989 Pierce Engine. This truck is used as a reserve truck, special details and special call in larger fires
Ladder Companies
Ladder 1 - Central Station ~ Main Street
Ladder 1 is a 2009 Pierce Quint. The truck feature a 75 foot ladder and a 1500 GPM pump. Ladder 1 is manned by 2-4 firefighters per shift
Ladder 6 - Station 6 ~ Griffin Road

Ladder 6 is a 1988 Pierce Aerial 105-foot ladder. The Ladder carries a generator, lights and ground ladders, including a 40-foot Bangor Ladder.
Ladder 6 is cross-manned by members at Station 6 as a special call truck and as a reserve ladder.
Command Car - Central Station ~ Main Street
The Assistant Chiefs use this 2009 Chevrolet Suburban to answer calls.
Truck 15 - Central Station ~ Main Street
Truck 15 is a 2006 Chevrolet pick-up which is used as an utility vehicle and to tow the EMS Bike trailer, boats, and Learn Not To Burn Smoke Trailer.
In thw inter it is also used to plow snow at the stations.
Heavy Rescue - Central Station ~ Main Street

The Heavy Rescue Truck is a 2006 Spartan that is equipped with a set of hydraulic rescue tools (commonly called the "Jaws of Life"), cutting tools, water and ice rescue equipment and high-angle rescue equipment.

Rescue 1 - Central Station ~ Main Street

Rescue 1 is a 2009 Chevrolet Ambulance. It is equipped at at the Paramedic level and is staffed 24 hours with 2 members, at least one of the members is a paramedic.
Rescue 5 - Station 5 ~ Hogan Road

Rescue 5 is a 2007 Ford Ambulance. It is equipped at at the Paramedic level and is staffed 24 hours with 2 members, at least one of the members is a paramedic.
Rescue 6 - Station 6 ~ Griffin Road
Rescue 6 is a Ford Ambulance. It is equipped at at the Paramedic level and is staffed 24 hours with 2 members, at least one of the members is a paramedic.
Rescue 2 - Reserve
Rescue 2 is a Ford ambulance that is most commonly used for long-distance medical transfers or for use when one of the other ambulances is out of service

Rescue 4 is a Ford ambulance that is most commonly used for long-distance medical transfers or for use when one of the other ambulances is out of service
Specialty Equipment
Incident Command Vehicle - Station 5 ~ Hogan Road
The Incident Command Vehicle was purchased with a grant. This truck is a 2005 Freightliner equipped with a variety of lighting and communication equipment for use at major incidents.
Rescue Boats
Since the City of Bangor is located on both the Penobscot River and Kenduskeag Stream it is not unusual to have a need for rescue boats for stranded boaters, the annual Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race and the occasional oil spill. This aluminum-hull Propac boat is powered by a 90-horsepower Mercury outboard. Water rescue equipment and booms for oil spills are on-board. Another boat, an inflatable boat, is also available for use.
Tanker 6 - Station 6 ~ Griffin Road
The tank truck features a 3000 gallon water tank, 1000 gpm pump, a quick dump and improved safety features. The truck has more compartment space for equipment. Equipment includes SCBA's, rural hitch equipment, and equipment carried by engines.
The truck replaces our old tank truck, and responds to districts in the city without hydrant coverage as well as mutual aid calls as requested.
It is a 2010 Kenworth truck. It was built by Mid-West fire.
