Welcome to the Penjajawoc Marsh Commission
Penjajawoc Marsh Bangor Mall Management Commission
The Penjajawoc Marsh Bangor Mall Management Commission was established by Council Ordinance 05-203 in June 2005
The Commission was one of several recommendations of the Penjajawoc Marsh Bangor Mall Task Force that was adopted by the City in May of 2005
The Commission is charged with overseeing development around the Penjajawoc Marsh by having input into
Land Development Controls (Zoning)
Meeting with developers and advising on development proposals
Developing a long term management plan for the lands around the Penjajawoc Marsh
Commission Review
All new development projects are urged to meet with the Commission early on to review various elements of the project for consistency with the Commission’s goals
Applicants seeking to be heard by the Commission are directed to contact the City Engineering or Planning Office well in advance of the Commission’s meeting.
The Commission meetings are schedule tentatively for the first Friday of every month
